March is usually pretty flat around Cabo, the Southern Hemisphere waves don't start until April and then last through the early fall. Cabo is flat and in the Lee all winter and early spring..
If the waves are big, please be careful. Cabo has very steep dangerous beaches. If the waves are small, go enjoy yourself, just stay away formt he Pacific beaches.. The East Cape will probably be windy in March, but Los Cabos will be int he Lee of the wind.
Patterns for the winter are easy, not like the early summer roosterfish beach fishing..
Clousers are a great bet. Greens, and shaded of tans are my favorite.. 2 to 3" on size 1/0 is about all you need...
Blind casting the the rule of thumb. Small roosterfish, jacks, look downs, ladyfish are the main catch...although I have caught snapper, groupers, halibut, and amberjacks. So you never really know what you can get.
