Well that's why they make so many models; so everybody can have what they want. I have a Panasonic triple CMOS videocam, so I get true color, instead of Bayer patterns. The D7100 is supposed to do pretty good video also.
And I discovered that Nikon also introduced a D5200 with the 24 Mpx sensor; that's the camera with the flip around LCD screen. I'm not a fan of those; too much junk to go wrong, and also you can only change the settings via the menu screen, because all the elbow joint junk takes up the space where the buttons used to be.
Some people like the fact that you can fold the LCD screen in on the inside to protect it. Well that is simply wunnerful, since you need that screen to read the menus.

I'm told its useful when shooting insects close up on a tripod in very close quarters.

So I'm wondering if Nikon maybe has a D7200 up their sleeve; probably put the anti-aliassing filter back on, in case they make some new sharp lenses.
