To be sure, as an experienced fly fisherman and frequent poster on this forum and others, YOU KNOW YOU DIDN'T BOOK THIS TRIP WITHOUT ASKING THE GUIDE ABOUT PEAK SEASONS, WEATHER, AND WATER CONDITIONS???

You could have just as easily been in the Bahamas or Belize this time of year and gotten the finger from the weather Gods, so while I'm somewhat sympathetic, you're bound to have read enough reports on LA's redfishing to know that Oct/Nov are peak times (and even that is very keyed in to good weather).

Sorry for the tough trip in bad weather, but, my friend, not knowing about the location before getting down there falls squarely on your shoulders as much as anyone on here not knowing what a 105 degree heat index is like in Loreto!

Better luck next time, wherever you go!

Good Fishing!!!
