Hi All
I've just moved to Thailand for work and am beginning to scope out fly fishing options. I have lined up a 2 day trip to a dam that is about 3 hours south west of Bangkok (Kaeng Krajan) to fish for giant snakehead. I fished a local stocked pond last weekend and managed to catch a few snakehead, but my expectation is that it will be tougher fishing for wild fish.
From what I have gleaned the main lures used on them are buzzbaits and frog poppers. I have tied up some gutless frogs and gurglers in 5/0 but was wondering if anyone on this board has fished for them with any success in the wild?
