Great report and exactly like what I found when I stayed there a year ago. I had a great time and can't wait to go back.

Dan, My room had AC and I turned it off in the middle of the first night and never put it on again. I was cold more than I was warm when I was there, as were all the rest of the people who stayed there at the time I did. We had quite a bit of breeze and rain, so it never really got very warm. It may be that The Villages stays cooler than Captain Cook's since the prevailing winds blow from the SE and The Villages is on the NW side of the lagoon, where Captain Cook's is on the NNW oceanside shore.
