Carl,

You'd think the travel people and local lodges and hotels would make a stink over their visiting anglers being harassed and basically cheated. I doubt seriously that anyone is selling their gear down there. They may give a rod or reel and some gear to their guide but that's about the extent of it.

I don't give my gear away - I give my guide a money tip; and I sure as hell don't sell it.

It's BS and someone should get a serious kick in the pants for doing it. Serious anglers always take more gear than they probably need.
