There are bonefish and bluefin trevally all along hotel row at Kaanapali as well as all sorts of clouser-grabbing species along the lava flows in Makena. I've caught small trevally of the jetty at Lahaina as well. A light spinning outfit filled with 10# braid, casting small jerkbaits like Lucky Crafts or Rapala X-raps works well.
