| Ok - a group of 6 friends went for our annual trip to Ascension Bay a couple weeks ago and landed on the heals of a cool north wind. After 3 days the wind switched and also did the fishing. It got hot , both the temps and the fishing. In 4 days we caught 12 permit, some bones, some snook and some tarpon. Had a great time fishing out of a new lodge - La Pescadora in Punta Allen. We went there because we know the new manager and head guide and they did a great job getting us on the fish.
