I know nothing about Delta Water but am running my F225 in the Atlantic often. At nine years old it has 2400 hours on it and is still very strong. I notice towards the end of this thread you mentioned you were going to use fuel treatment in your new engine. It will not help with water jacket corrosion but will keep your rings, valves, cylinders, pistons clean and have other benefits. Everyone has their favorite additives. With the cost of new engines, I go the overkill route. I use Ring Free, Stabil Ethanol, and Startron. I have my reasons for each one, but will not go into detail here.
Some guys will say they are all junk and not needed, but I think they help. I use them at the recommended dosages for ever gallon I put in my 110 gal tank. Just trying to help. Have no interest in debating the merits of fuel additives. That is what THT is for. (grin)
