Hey Jon,

There are several steps, and not one material. My goal was to make the body solid to the shank.

The body is dubbed, brushed out laterally, stiffened with glue. Final coat of glue and clipped Seal Fiber is applied to the glue, for the final treatment.
Legs and eyes are added last.

Now the claws.....that is the secret! Grin!
