Dave,

Thanks so much for letting us know about Peter. Peter and I go back to the early 70s. I took him out with me on San Francisco bay in 1971 where he caught his first striper on a fly. We fished together many times on Costa Rica's Rio Colorado all through the 70s, into the early 80s. He took me trout fishing in Costa Rica in 1975 I believe. It was a great outing and we actually caught some fish. I have many slides of that day buried somewhere in my files. I'll have to dig them out and scan them.

Of course we fished a lot together targeting Guapote and machaca and snook of course. We had a blast. We were both very close friends of the late Bill Barnes, owner of Casa Mar where we stayed while fishing the Colorado.

I'll drop Peter a note of encouragement and well-wishes.
