Hey Steve, yep, i've seen them before too. Nice to see someone mention Carl Richards in that thread. He wrote the best piece i've ever seen on designing flats flies in an article that was from memory written in the early nineties. 'Gulf Coast Flies' I think the piece was titled. I don't remember which magazine. Anyway, one of my fly tying heroes that is for sure and a great tyer.
