Dan, you'll like the F115. I have one with about 600 hours on my Parker. It ought to push a light boat like yours at a good lick.

Yamahas often go for 4000 or more hours in commercial applications - where they are run frequently. Could the problem be the way you store the engine? I store mine in the lowered position, not tilted. This allows all the water to drain out when it is put in storage. Just a thought... I have no information regarding corrosive properties of Delta water.
