Thanks Dan for posting this ....
We who live and fish on the Russian River have had it with the Overprotected Harbor Seals and Sea Lions.
There are often over a Hundred (100++) at the mouth of the Russian, and many "Educated" animals that swim and fish near my place by Odd Fellows, with many others going up to Dry Creek, and even farther to Healdsburg!!
It is a tragedy that we have an Overprotected Mammal that is killing our beloved Native Endangered Species. These Saltwater Pinnipeds are not meant to travel up rivers, stake out fish ladders, and feed in the freshwater.
We need to get things back in balance......... |
