Heh, Marty, Don’t let these sour grapes bring you down, you’re doing a fantastic job. These $%!?# striper fishermen have been a thorn in my side for the last ten years.
This new move by you and the Dept. is just what the doctor ordered, take the wind out of their sails, ya know? (and thanks to NOAA and USMF for their support, too)
Annihilating the striped bass fishery w/ these reg changes won’t bring back those other fish (what are they, Delta Salmon and King smelt or something like that?), but I may be able to squeeze another billion $$ or so out of the state with the subsidized water, etc.
By the way, who came up with the idea of having the follow up meeting in San Diego? What is that 500+ miles from the Delta? Genius! I bet you guys got a laugh when you came up with that one! Let’s see how many of those losers (oops, did I say that? haha!) show up for THAT meeting!
Anyway, Marty, just wanted to say well done and thanks to you and the Dept. and don’t worry, I’ll remember it.
Hang in there!
