Here comes the big stab in the back of sportsmen from DFG.
The water bufflos couldnt do it by lawsuits and legislation because their argument was not supported by history or the facts so they are doing it by fiat.
I like that bit about the DFG "scientists" have estimated that the striped bass population has been in the "millions" for decades. That's odd I seem to remember that previously even DFG estimates were that striper population in the last decade was at an all time low, along with salmon.
You would think, if predation by SB was significant the salmon would be doing a lot better in the last decade but their population crashed, along with other migratory species.
But the "facts" have to change to fit the proposal.
