How big is the workshop space? I'll wager it's not enough space for the fly fishers, let alone the CSBA folks and any other fishermen who might be passing by.
Maybe that should be rethought. But location was certainly decided in advance with forethought.
And meeting later in San Diego? How corrupted is the process that places a meeting about striped bass half-a-thousand miles away from where they are caught? Might as well be in Washington DC.
Lobbyists and DFG and NOAA and other employees of the fed, state, and corporate interests and politicians can go and get paid for attending (and get tax write offs for their own expenses!). To whom does the volunteer and passionate community of fishermen go to submit their receipts for their per-diem costs?
This is so close to disenfranchising there could be cause for a lawsuit over the process.
Don't tell me discussions on the placement of the meetings were not mostly about the politics of making sure certain someones would not attend.
Rhetoric. You got a can of worms, and an overflowing of skeptical words, and it's deserved.
