Let's play a game called "Blame the Bass".

Lemme see how this works, Stripers have been abundant since the turn of the century. But now 100 years later the salmon runs are "substantially" impacted by striper predation. It couldn't be the loss of spawning habitat,introduction of hatcheries as "mitigation" for the effects of lost habitat waterways, poor ocean conditions, low water years & delta water diversion/quality issues that are the primary factors.

That why the Klamath & Trinity runs have done so well the past few years... no stripers......sic,
