I am so bummed that I was unable to attend the outing you all just shared. We are really busy at work and it seems like it is not quality work in that it is really tough to make much money at it. Working harder for less seems to be a common thread with folks from all sorts of different occupations. That is true for me as well so it was not an option to leave a project before the threat of $5000 a day liquidated damages was put to rest.
I really wanted to be one of the guys that provided George with a shot at his life long dream of jumping a tarpon. He is about as sweet and genuine an old fellow as one could hope to meet.He typifies all that is good in human nature and is overflowing with honor and integrity.I am really sorry that it was unworkable this time.
I do feel like I now have a couple of new friends and that I am way better for having been involved in the planning/encouragement process of this trip.
Michael and George are two fine people and I am sorry that I did not get the chance to meet Brandon as well.
Next trip I will be there somehow.
Cheers guys, glad you had some fun and that you are all back safe and sound.
