Hi Charlie, Thanks to your amazing mind we have your Airhead and Pole Dancer to fish with.
Yes those brass rattles really make a lot of noise. HUGE difference from the glass rattles. I have tied a few with double rattles and they make even more noise. Don't know if it matters.
And yes you are right about these types of flies, they travel through the air like a dart.
