Ben... I fit a 4# shooting to my two weight and I don't use other SH 9 footers, but if I did they would be uplined by two weights and fitted with heads, But that's for fishing, I'm not into casting as anything but a line delivery system for fishing.
I just asked a simple question about 5# rods handling a full 5# DT line, like 400gns or so. Get a lot of funny answers, but no one has yet admitted that the rods are NOT 5#, but I'm waiting with bated breath.
I'd like to see one of those 5# rods put over the common cents deflection system.
My point is that if a true 5# rod can handle a full 5# DT line then why do we have a range of rods including like, 5/6/7/8 when one 5# should do the job.
