I'm a bit confused about the 5# rods that cast a full 5# DT line, like used as a pseudo shooting head, all of it out of the runners, like 400gns. Are these 5# rods really 5 weight rods, and if you translate the load on a 5# to the projected load on a 8#, using a full DT line and having it out of the runners, the load would be considerable, like 600gns. Am I missing something, or its it a dream. VBG. MaxG.
