In the late 70's I found a hook, steelhead down turned bronze loop eye that Len told me was from Edward L. Haas. After years of corresponding with Mr. Haas, I visited him at his little cabin on the Salmon River. That experience was, needless to say, life changing for me. I never looked at flytying the same again. I spent a lot of time at the Mill Pond in those years and remember all the good fishing information Len shared.
