Peter,
This board, in it's nearly 14th year, has never been a board about curring social ills and humanitarian discretion. It has never been a board for the discussion of politics and politicians in general; nor has it been a place to debate religion. It's been about the discussion of fly-fishing, of fishing in general and about anything thing else that is 'POSITIVE' and upbeat, having to do with the outdoors and our passion; and doesn't place anyone in this community in an uncomfortable position, including me.
Please read my introduction again if you haven't already.
The humanitarian short-comings of the world will not be solved here and I frankly don't want to make an attempt. It's not what my board is about, never has been and never will be.
Had I taken the time to check the board early this morning before leaving to guide on the Delta, I would have deleted your post because it is not board-appropriate nor meets the style and protocols of this board.
