Do you ever use a dark gray or dark olive back as a change-up for your sand lance? In Washington we find that the ligher green or chartreuse is best for bright days and the darker back for overcast days.
We also tie ours up in 3, 4 and 5 inch lengths, to match the size of bait in Puget Sound at various times of the yar. How about you?
