Dear Fanny,

I met you and Mel at Futaleufu Lodge. I am the son of Sonia Repine who spilled coffee in your lap as I tried to serve you at breakfast. That was more than 10 years ago but seems like yesterday. I was very embarassed but you and Mel took it as a funny thing and to my relief you both laughed.

Later the guests and guides, including this repentant fellow, all met on the lawn and Mel gave us a casting lesson.. and the week continued. That was an unforgettable summer and you both will be in my memory forever.

I'm very sorry for your loss.
