Below is the list for the 2007 WWW.DanBlanton.Com Bulletin Board Striperfest. The event will be held November 3, starting at 4 p.m., and will take place at the Sugar Barge on Bethel Island. The cost will be $25.00 per person.
For the newcomers, this event was founded to acknowledge Dan Blanton for all his contributions to fly fishing as well as a “thank you” for establishing this great bulletin board. Additionally, this event is to acknowledge all of you for making Dan’s board such a high quality community and a terrific source of valuable information. If you plan on attending, please attach your full name to this thread and your fishing partners’ full name (name tags).
The fine folks at the Paradise Bar & Grill will be handling the BBQ again. Please note, last year we had 26 drop-ins. That’s a bunch of hungry, rib eating fisher-people un-accounted for – and go figure – we ran out of food. Please inform us if you plan to attend. My final post will be Tuesday, October 30.
This event gets bigger and better every year. I really look forward to hearing from all of you who have attended in the past and hopefully many more who may be attending for the first time.
