Pretty neat stuff. Thanks for turning your equipment to this problem.
It's going to take a little while to get up to speed, but does Slide 7 contain all of the "trash" that you mentioned leaving out initially? Am I right that there is significant front-side reflection in Slide 7 that would jibe with what Ralph sees in the video he posted?
We've discussed using models vs observation in connection with global warming. You have modeled this problem with simplifications so there is room for changes in the results, right? When I look at a tippet with a "glossy" finish, it gleams more than a tippet with a matte finish. Does your model suggest this does not happen?
