Thanks Ken, Really appreciate your interest. I've always thought there must be a better, more durable way of added eyes to flies. Gluing to feathers just didn't do it for me. Lately I've been using CCG with UV light. Much faster bonding the mono to the eyes. One precausion using adhesives like five-min. two part epoxy. They do act on the self adhesion glue of the eyes. Eventually they disolve the glue and the mono extentions start to slide out of place. Let the bond set for a few minutes before applying. Any type of acrylic will do this too, even CCG. What you need to do is spot weld tacks with CCG in several place first. Set with light, now the mono loops are set tight, apply the rest of material to cover the complete back side of eyes. Cover completely so no tying material will adhere.
