This is the technique I am using for articulated bunny flies. This video shows Chris Ringlee. He is a commercial pilot, former Bristol Bay guide and he is now working for the USFWS as a fish tech in Bristol Bay whicle he gets a fish bilogist degree. He is an amazing fly fisher and tier and a heck of a nice guy for a "youngster."
The articulation part begins about minute 3. This makes the best articulated flies I have found. It is much better then using wire, mono, or unfurled dacron. The key is to wrap the rabbit in the opposite direction you twist the hook.
