Larry Tusoni at High Sierra rods also sells silk lines that he imports from France and (I think) Italy. They are nice lines for a light cane rod, but they must be stored dry, dressed, and dried again about half way through a fishing day.

I am using the new Sylk lines from Cortland with my 8'3" hollow-built Penta 5 weight. These cast almost line a silk line, but require no more maintenace than a standard plastic line.
