Bill, I 100% agree with your view of Boca Grande Pass and other conjested areas. I also focus on building a better mouse trap and look for new places and new ideas, thus this wonderful bulletin board. I love being out on the water with a fly rod in my hand and those moments when I am blessed to have a Tarpon ripping into my backing. The Boca Grande gang will not deter me. I made the committment a few years ago to do my small part to support the efforts of sustaining and maybe even improve our Tarpon, bonefish, permit, red fish et al fly fishing. Specifically, I contribute time and money to the Bonefish Tarpon Trust. In brief, it feels good to take a small positive step rather than do what I used to do - "blow my top" when a #!*# buzzed my little skiff. At least now I am being proactive before I engage in "colorful language". Tomorrow I am off to the Everglades in hopes of searching for Tarpon that are off the grid. I will keep this Bulttin Board posted...
