And there are at least two books available in the USA on the subject, which it a bit interesting, and all this science has been around and available for yonks and MOST SWoffers don't believe it, and/or don't want to know.
UV light effects a few species, mostly small prey fishes, and a lot of the species chased by Swoffers are pelagics, which mostly live in oceanic conditions and see blue/green and not red.
And the most important thing is that their retinal sensitivity will mostly match their food source, like make it easier for them to eat.
Where have you been Phil, its 2012, and how long have you been SWFing?
