I fish southern Belize the first 2 weeks of November. I guess that might be about 100 miles south of Xcalak. We get lots of rain in those 2 weeks in most years and sometimes lots of wind. It's the end of the hurricane season and in the last several years we have seen storms, tropical waves and depressions skirt southern BZE and hit the Yucatan. Of course, this year will probably be sunny with no wind. Lets hope. Go later and avoid the wet weather but there can always be wind in the tropics.
