|Most use 20 or 30 pound high quality braided Dacron line. |
Less expensive braided Dacron is very large in diameter.
We have had requests from several salt water guides to have the backing in a visable color so they can tell where their client's fish is headed to control the boat properly. They did not like white. I think orange was the most visible but what do others think?
If capacity is an issue some use Gel-spun but it is hard to tie up and is a little dangerous. It can cut into your hands and fingers.
Flat fishing can be a lot of things.......wading for 3 pound Bonefish in the tropics or polling in a boat for world class Permit.
