I guy I used to largemouth bass fish with (conventional gear) would fish in that area. He used to do well for both largemouth & stripers. Apparently, if you learn the water, fishing can be really good. I personally have not fished there or taken my boat there. Sandbars down there & pretty shallow water for a 'regular' boat with outboard motor. Also, rumor has it that the parking lot at Mossdale isn't that safe.
