Hey Mike,
It couldn't have been a more perfect "first-day-of-spring". The weather was fabulous, warm, clear and windless; and we found plenty of fish.
It was especially nice to have been able to get Ray into lots of fish and to also show him what the lake was all about. And of course the camaraderie between us "old guys" couldn't have been more fun.
We quit fishing while the bite was still on and headed home with a great feeling of satisfaction on all counts; a few more fish to hand wouldn't have made a difference.
