My name is Dan. I live in a retirement home near Jacksonville Florida. I have a friend going to Alaska in July and he wanted me to tie some flies. I have never fished Alaska. So I need to know what kind of flies, what color and what kind of hooks. Being in a retire home transporttation to buy materials is difficult. I have a small number of hooks. Mustad SS in numbers 1--2 and 1/0. Also some Mustad hooks# 2/0 in the short shank #34007
I was an Orvis pro guide for many years but after I retired I gave up my captains ticket so I can no longer buy thru them at the discount price.
