Tod: I usually fish San Antonio in the Spring beginning in April. The lake has a huge population of carp that seem to like to congregate in the Spring at the north end where the river comes in. Look for them in the leads around the stick-ups. There are also some nice crappie to be had back in the coves at this time of the year. The smallmouth like the rocky aresa near the dam and the LMB are found throughout the shoreline right where you would expect them to be.
