| I was wondering if anyone targets Salmon on the fly in the SF Bay Area off the coast? I would think the usual Striper setup with fast sinking lines and standard flies. The real question I would have is how deep do you need to go? I know that DFG asks that you fish lower than 30 ft to avoid Cohos & it also seems your flies would need to be tied on circle hooks (if you're drifting as opposed to trolling)? I've not been able to find any info on anyone doing this. Thanks. |
