| What would better for tossing 2 to 3 inch poppers and deer hair bugs to 1 to 3 lb. smallmouth bass - a Sage Bluegill or a Sage Smallmouth? I have a Sage Largemouth and judging by the way it throws LARGE flies, I'm thinking the Smallmouth might actually be overkill for its namesake. (Unfortunately, there are no shops to cast these rods where I live.) Thanks in advance!!! |
