Hey Board, i'm working up a new tube squid pattern, problem is that I have no experience with fishing squid patterns. So i'm keen to get some suggestions on how to set it up for best results.
My questions are in what scenarios do you guys fish in with squid flies? Do you fish them deep or shallow, should they carry some weight? Do you fish them around structure, should they be weedless? Should they have a certain posture? What makes a good squid fly?
Any thoughts most appreciated.
Cheers, Jon
