Thanks, Dan. I normally do up-line. Fishing for large mouth bass one usually doesn't have to think about finessing. Actually, my rod is an old-time Sage Graphite III 590 RPL and by using a 6wt line I'm already up-lining. The 6wt tosses real well, and although I would like to get the Mainstream saltwater 7 WFF (because it may even be tougher than the freshwater version), I'm afraid it will just be too heavy for a 5wt rod.
