Guys,
I've heard so many good things about the anchor feature of the I-pilot Minn Kota. One thing I noticed yesterday while fishing with Ed Given, that in the blustery, non-directional wind, the electric motor in the anchor mode would wrap the coil-cord several time around the shaft and would probably keep wrapping it until something gave or the anchor button was turned off.
I'm fairly certain this wouldn't be near the problem on a calm day since the boat wouldn't be blown around nearly as much. Anyone experience this with their I-pilot in the anchor position on an indiscriminate windy day?
