I think a 9' 9 weight in 4 piece is about as big as you will need for Bonefish or Peacock Bass. Some will use an 8 weight too. If you can have her cast some different 9 weights, she might find one that cast better/easier for her. Be sure to have very good fly lines that are clean and dressed too. See if you can get her some casting lessons too.
