During a discussion on this topic several years ago , this thought struck as as quite sobering... "When you enter a wild environment ( woods & water ), always remember that you are entering the food chain." I've lived that as Me and a buddy found ourselves in between a Mother Bear and her cubs once in AK. It was at that moment I understood the true meaning of fear. I consider myself very fortunate to be alive today. The above thought was passed onto me discussing this event. My best to this man's family...
