OK Got it! I haven't experienced the problem with mine but I'll pay more attention to it. I've only been using mine for trout, bass and shad - that kind of fishing. I use my Fiskars Softouch Metal Works scissors for cutting all my saltwater mono and braided wire. They work better than anything I've found. Dan [click here to display pictures]
