The 9550 with an 810 spool has the same capacity as the 9500 with its 810 spool. However, the 9550 1012 (the large spool you're referring to) has quite a bit more capacity than any version of the 9500. I don't fish for Pacific tuna, so I'm not sure what the capacity needs are, but a 9550 1012 will handle false albacore and the true skipjacks, blackfins, etc. with little trouble. Depending upon how well you fight fish, I would think it'd be able to handle yellowfin at least up to 35#. Experienced tuna guys would probably be able to do a lot more. Remember the record Bluefin was caught on a Charlton 8550C with a Tarpon spool which has only a bit more capacity than the 9550 1012.
