Wasn't there an article on a recent study that found fish see more of the IR spectrum than humans? That allows them to feed better at night and in low light conditions. Validated by the arrangement of cones and rods in their eyes or something. If that's true, I wonder if mono or FC are more visible in the IR spectrum or not? I agree with Ralph that I can't see any real difference between the two in the visible spectrum for sure. I doo think FC stands up to abrasion better than regular old monofilament tho.
