Hey having an opinion different than man is OK man. However, as noted below, a shirt that soaks up sweat keeps you cooler via the evaporation process - just like a lister water bag keeps water cool. I sweat like a pig and I want that sweat soaked up and evaporated to help cool me - not running down my back into the crack of my ass into my skivvies...
When we run, the wind sure feels good as it helps evaporate the sweat. If you're a non-sweater, I pity you since you're more likely to experience heat stroke or exhaustion that a person who sweats profusely.
The nylon shirts I've tried, and I've tried plenty, are much hotter than a cotton blend. My opinion, based on my personal experience.
